The Specialized Crosstrail range is designed for those who don't like to put labels on their riding style, the Crosstrail Comp allows for a smooth and fast-paced road ride whilst being capable on slight off-road tracks thanks to the front Suspension Forks. The Comp has a higher spec'd groupset than theCrosstrail Sport for an even lighter and smoother gear change. The improved Crosstrail Comp 2012 will build up your confidence on the road with its smooth and sleek style whilst the suspension helps to bring out your adventurous side.
Like its younger sibling, the Specialized Crosstrail Comp 2012 has the lightweight smooth-welded A1 Premium Aluminium frame gives you the confidence to ride on any surface whilst the fender/rack braze-ons add versatility. The 75mm SR Suntour fork has 75mm-travel coil-sprung fork with hydraulic lock-out for light off road riding, the suspension will let the Hybrd bike glide over small rocks and bumps easily giving you the confidence to try bigger and better things on this versatile bike. Like the Sport, the Comp hybrid bike uses the same Specialized Borough XC Sport tyres, these are fast rolling tyres that still have enough bite to grip to the dirt for ultimate control.
The Specialized Crosstrail comp has a better groupset than the crosstrail Sport for a lighter and smoother ride; the Shimano Alivio 9-speed chainset offers a great gearing change for easy uphill riding and fast road riding. The Specialized crosstrail comp has a Shimano Alivio front mech and a Shimano Rear mech that's combined with a Shimano Alivio shifters with Rapidfire for a truly easy gear shifting on demand.
