Specialized have used their durable E5 Premium Aluminium to build a frame that will stand the rigorous demands of off road riding and you will find that the tubing as also been formed to make shouldering the bike real easy. Specialized have matched up the aluminium frame with their FACT carbon fork, helping to keep the bike weight down and also making for a very stiff and responsive bike.
The Specialized Crux E5 takes a no-nonsense approach to performance with Specialized having utilized a mixture of components to get the best out of the bike. Starting with the drivetrain, you get Shimano Tiagra 10 speed shifters, along with Tiagra rear and front derailleurs, which have been matched up with a compact Praxis crankset to give you reliable clean shifting every time. The cassette is a 11 – 32t giving you a wide range of gears to choose from no matter what the terrain.

The Specialized Tracer Sport tyres are a good all-condition tyre. The tread covers all courses, with centre knobs to provide ample traction and siped shoulder knobs that adapt to hard and loose ground. They are also a respectably lightweight tyre, making it easy to accelerate.
