Worlds Quietest – Only True Direct Drive – Most Technically Advanced Trainer
If you're serious about training, then look no further. The Tacx Neo is quite possibly the best on the market, still!
This thing is serious the maximum gradient simulation is 25% and with a maximum power of 2200 watts, you will never reach the limit of the Neo. It's super accurate too, <1% to be precise!
At the time of this review we have one out on display for people to try out and some may notice that it's plugged in - this trainer can be used in a shed without power, though the power simply allows the neo to have a -5% gradient - yep, downhill simulator!
On descents you get a true feeling of speed, if you choose to not have your trainer plugged in, if you stop pedalling, it stops moving, there's no spin down, though real road feel is always available. Cool huh?
If you are looking for structured workouts this is for you. I've personally done a few 100 mile bike rides on it to see how good it is along with plenty of custom interval training throughout the year and I absolutely love it. I'd be lost without it now as it's great to keep fit on!
I know it's a lot of money, though with our 0% finance it's so much more affordable per month. If your budget doesn't quite stretch to this, the Tacx Flux is next on the list with a maximum gradient of 10% and no downhill drive / real road feel, you can still get a great workout on it!
If you need more help, we are only a phone call away!
