This ultra-durable balm is designed to address even the most extreme conditions. Created by our founder, Steve Mathews, who sought a solution for his longest rides and ofter wet, hot rides, this balm provides a longer-lasting alternative to creams and a more convenient choice than 8 oz tubes of Butt'r.
Ultra is distinct from our other Butt'r creams, offering distinct advantages on certain rides. We spent 6 years refining and optimizing the formula for Ultra balm, making it thicker than other anti-chafe creams for advanced protection and long-lasting comfort that won't move. We tested and improved this formula with a select group of experienced ultra endurance cyclists, everyday cyclists and bike packers to make sure it could stand up to whatever they could throw at it.
