At Formby Cycles we like to offer you the best possible prices. If you spot a cheaper item from a UK retailer we will do our very best to match the price for you. We can't match some of the low prices on Amazon, eBay or other auction sites, nor can we match International prices, but our products are brand new and genuine. The product must be the same size and colour, in stock on our UK competitor's website and have the same delivery time frame as Formby Cycles. Promotions, discounts or 'buy one get one free' offers aren't included in our price match. We can’t price match products bought through a finance payment method if repayments and rates are higher than Formby Cycles RRP or our own Finance terms.

Here at Formby Cycles we are happy to deliver to an alternative address, however this can only be done at our discretion, and usually after two orders.
This may not be the most convenient option for a number of customers, who have no one at the home address 9-5 Monday to Friday, but online fraud is a serious matter and we have taken these steps to eliminate online fraud when ordering from us here at Formby Cycles. We are aware that our competitors will dispatch orders to non registered addresses (i.e. work address) but we enforce these security procedures to protect customers as well as ourselves against fraudulent purchases.PAYMENT

With bikes purchased from Formby Cycles you are entitled to a free safety check within the first 6 weeks. This check includes a general safety check of the bike purchased to make sure gears are changing properly, bolts are tightened and brakes are working correctly.
This applies to all bikes bought from us in store or online, and is subject to the bike being brought back in store to us, not posted. Any bikes posted to us would be down to the customer and all costs would be the customers responsibility.
Free post - Orders over £25.00 Stock items dispatched next working day. We offer before 9am, 10am and 12pm delivery. We also offer a Saturday delivery service however there is an extra charge for these services. Please contact the store before ordering to arrange any of these delivery options.
We use DPD for the most of our deliveries, and can provide you with a tracking number if needed. We currently only ship out to mainland UK at this timeRETURNS
We are happy to exchange or refund any unused items returned to us as sold and in original packaging, with original sales receipt within 28 days (exclusions apply). This does not affect your statutory rights. If you are returning faulty goods your statutory rights apply.
Goods returned without the original, salable packaging cannot be accepted back.
Returned goods should be unused and with the original salable packaging (exclusions apply) if you have the original sales receipt within 28 days (as proof of purchase) we will exchange the returned product or issue a refund based on the method of payment.
- a) In cash if you paid cash.
- b) By credit card if you paid by credit card.
- c) With gift vouchers if you paid in gift vouchers.
- d) With a credit note if you paid by credit note.
Please note: Credit notes and gift vouches are not redeemable for cash. If not used in full we will issue a further credit note/gift voucher for the balance.
Goods returned without the original, salable packaging cannot be accepted back. Returned products should be unused and with the original salable packaging (exclusions apply). If no original receipt is available we will need the following information: When the goods where purchased. How the goods where paid for. We will then trace the original sale and issue you a credit note to the value of the current selling price. If the sale cannot be traced we will refuse to issue a credit note.
Exclusions - Products cut for you, made to measure, special orders or mixed to specific requirements cannot be refunded or exchanged.
We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund with or without a receipt.
If you have changed your mind and wish to return a product to us please do so to. (Please note that we do not cover return postage)

All our bikes that are sent out are built and PDI'd (Pre delivery inspection) by one of our fully trained Cytech mechanics. Then the bikes are partially dismantled to be fitted back in the box for shipping, all bikes will come with a specific set of build instructions to help you with the small amount of assembly needed.WARRANTY RETURNS
If you feel you do have a warranty claim before returning any goods please call the order line for a warranty assessment.
The warranty does not cover return postage to the store.
For larger items we do not have an insured collection service (bikes, frames etc). Due to this we ask if you can arrange delivery of the bike / frame through an insured parcel collection service found on the internet. We advise that you select insurance for the full RRP of the bike / frame to avoid any issues of damage / loss.
Small items can be sent using royal mail, there is no return fee after the completed warranty.
Please enclose a copy of the receipt and address it to whomever has been dealing with your warranty issue in store along with a cover note.MANY BIKES AND PARTS ARE COVERED BY A MANUFACTURER WARRANTY.
Below is a list of scenarios that are not covered under warranty.
- Stripped pedal threads. When you receive your new bike you will need to fit the pedals. You can find a step-by-step guide to fitting your pedals in your fitting instructions.
- Damage from causes other than defects in material. For instance, if damage is caused by crashing your bike, it won't be covered under warranty.
- Normal wear and tear. Components may show signs of wear and tear in less than two years depending on amount of use, type of use and other conditions. Some components can be expected to reach the end of their normal lifespan within this time.
- Damage to products improperly installed or repaired.
- Products that have been modified, neglected or poorly maintained.
Please note all returns including warranty, exchange and refund must be repackaged safely before sending back to us. Customers are responsible for any returned goods damaged in transit.
Items listed on our website are purely an invitation to order. They do not constitute that the item is in stock. We do not and cannot guarantee that every item on our website is available at time of ordering. If an item is ordered and we do not have stock then we will try to contact you to see if you would like to wait while we obtain more stock, an alternative item or refund, provided that a correct email address and telephone number is provided.
