The Forekaster fills a unique spot in the Maxxis mountain tire lineup, positioned between the XC-focused tires designed for speed (Aspen, Rekon Race, Ikon, Rekon) and the gravity-oriented models built for cornering and braking grip (Dissector, Minion DHF, Minion DHR, Assegai). It is engineered as an ideal choice for extended, pedal-intensive rides across diverse terrain. When the Aspen falls short and the Minion feels excessive, the Maxxis Forekaster offers the perfect balance.
