The Roadfinder SL stands as our most nimble and road-oriented steel frameset yet, meticulously handcrafted in Stratford-upon-Avon from a carefully selected combination of Reynolds 853 and 725CS custom-drawn tubing. It offers a lighter, more precise, and highly responsive ride compared to the original Roadfinder, delivering the classic steel ride feel optimized for contemporary road cycling demands.
Featuring Grand Tour-inspired geometry with 73–73.5° angles, the Roadfinder SL delivers a responsive and assured ride, whether climbing, cornering, or covering long distances. Its Columbus Futura SLX carbon fork, equipped with a tapered steerer, enhances steering precision while effectively absorbing vibrations for a comfortable and smooth ride.
The SL is engineered to cut weight while maintaining performance, incorporating a circular-to-ovalised down tube that enhances bottom bracket stiffness and power transfer efficiency. It features a 27.2mm seatpost diameter to boost comfort and offers streamlined clearance for tyres up to 32c, or 28c when fitted with full mudguards. This design achieves a frame weight of only 1698g, making it 400 grams lighter than the original Roadfinder.
